viele Kunden machen sich ausführlich Gedanken darüber, wie die zukünftige Decke konstruiert, bzw. genäht werden soll. Grundsätzlich: alles ist möglich – nur nicht immer sinnvoll!
Wir verwenden viel Fachwissen darauf, die richtige Karo-Anzahl und Steghöhe für die von Ihnen gewünschten Decken zu verwenden.
Einige der Kriterien sind:
- je höher das Füllgewicht, umso weniger Karos
- je höher das Füllgewicht, umso höher der Innensteg
Logischerweise gilt dann im Umkehrschluss
- eine Sommerdecke hat sehr viele kleine Karos
- eine solch dünne Decke hat einen kleinen oder gar keinen Steg
Denn Sinn dieser Nähtechnik ist:
- klar, die Füllung an der richtigen Stelle fest zu halten, damit die Daunen nicht verrutschen
- aber noch wichtiger: den Daunen genug Volumen in der Decke zu geben, damit diese sich optimal entfalten können – um dann eben auch optimal zu wärmen.
- Jedoch nicht: zu viel Raum innerhalb des Karos zu haben, da die Daunen dann „in den Ecken“ verschwinden, was ja wirklich nicht sinnvoll wäre.
